All Deputies should be fully aware of their responsibilities as a politician when making laws or understanding where laws need to be changed. Deputies are in a privileged position their action would help instead of voicing the law is wrong, peoples lives/livelihoods rely on them

There are States members who complain there’s too much regulation, compliance and data protection and not once this term has there been a Requete by any Deputy to seek the majority of the States to amend said laws. Anti soundbites from those in power instead of dealing with it
@matt_fallaize @HeidiSoulsby @DavidPiesing63 @Livermore8 Who is telling them? To be fair I have had similar experiences with regulation, compliance and data protection. Not sure it’s always malicious but people either assume or draft policies that go further than the law requires
