Today would have been my dad’s 55 birthday. Most of you know COVID-19 took his life far too soon back in March. Back then we thought we could have a big party for him today. It’s still not safe to do so, but we had a great celebration at home. Smoke a cigar tonight for the man

I love Christmas Day NBA sm. One of my favorite childhood memories was an xmas day Pacers game with my dad. He emptied his wallet for a homeless woman in downtown Indy and we couldn’t get concessions. I didn’t get it then, but I do now. Give generously, love openly. Miss you dad

It’s my first Father’s Day without my dad, and I wanted to clarify something. A full seven days after he passed (and several days after this tweet) we got a call from the hospital that he did test positive for COVID-19 and that was the official cause of his death
