Jankowski can't be sent down, as he is out of options. He would have to be DFA'd, and clear waivers, in order to be assigned to Syracuse. He will not clear waivers. He will easily be claimed by another team. If this is the route the Mets go, it would be a huge mistake.

Before the Mets DFA'd Cano, Francisco Lindor, said he would "not be happy" if it happened. Well, guess what Francisco, it's not about you, it's about what's best for the team. Thank goodness you're not the GM, otherwise we would still have Cano, and McNeil would be gone.

I'm amazed at how many Mets fans have turned on Jacob deGrom. Do they think he wants to be injured? They have totally forgotten that he won two consecutive Cy Youngs, was an integral part of our 2015 World Series run, and is the best pitcher in baseball when healthy.
