If you’re ever near Ardara, take a trip & pay homage to the magnificent Kilclooney Dolmen. Eminent & eloquent archaeologist Dr Brian Lacey gave a fascinating talk after a short trek there on Saturday, held to mark 40 years of the monumental Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
I’ve had the most amazing weekend in Donegal. The ruggedly beautiful landscape, hospitality and food…just amazing. And many thanks to my guide, @patmcfaddenmp, for the social history masterclass along with the sights and sounds.
