17 years ago today, Benjamin Hendrickson passed away at the age of 55. His character of Hal Munson, a portrayal he won an Emmy Award for in 2003, would pass in October of that year. Hendrickson’s final episode, which aired 9 days after his passing, was dedicated to his memory.

I’m very fortunate my mom who is in her 80s lives with me. She has her own apt on my property (aka granny pod) and her kitty Wilbur keeps her company 24/7. She’s isolating herself but we all help her as much as we can w/o compromising her health. I’m blessed to be so close.
