Lovely shot of wave cloud there over the Irish Sea. The mountains of #snowdonia doing their bit working in unison with high pressure creating some trapped lee waves. Nice upper level feature over the channel too. …and nice bit of sunshine for Scotland for once 😂

@WalshmrG Ourselves, met office and KNMI name storms based on what we believe the impacts of them will be. Not just meeting certain meteorological parameters. Not sure about the Spanish but I’d imagine similar. Plenty of rain with this system for NW Spain.
