To Chick, You're a motherfucker -- Miles @carolinasoulrec, one of America's greatest record stores, has a Miles Davis '70s twofer up at auction that has a special inscription and autograph. Dig the photos. God knows what this is gonna end up selling for.

Fantastic program.
I’m teaching at NEC today; I moved my schedule around in order to hear Meng-Chieh Liu play piano sonatas by Dutilleux, Bartók, and Barber. Three incredible pieces WOW! Totally a genius program. Jazz trivia: Meng-Chieh was Reid Anderson’s roommate at Curtis 30 years ago
