writing about this 9 years ago, I touched upon how China had built at least 40 new airports in the time it took us to prevaricate over one runway. According to ChatGPT the PRC has built an additional 36 airports since publishing in 2016. Team Labour @UKLabour keep on trucking✈️

Good iv : but I doubt that any spades in the ground before the end of this Parliament would make sense in delivering a project that is going to take 20 or so years. And it’s not really about spades - we really back where we were when Ruth Kelly had to deal with 2007-8 Heathrow push - and arguments over how to measure emissions plus judicial review potential.
