We retired Bayston Hill from the track yesterday; another spiffing performance to be a going on 3rd; 74 starts 10 wins 24 places, 46% w&p record (got into the WE every 2nd start over 6 years). Here he is being led out by Dave, who has travelled him to most of those 74 starts.

The Yard, with just 30 boxes, has turned out 31 winners since 1st of Jan, 1 in every 10 runners has won; and we have also achieved a 29% w & p strike rate from our 304 runners since 1st Jan, almost a third of our runners has made the Winner's Enclosure.

A sad day for Rowdown yesterday with the passing of our spiffing dual p'pose Mare, Shufoog; since arriving 3 years ago she never gave anything other than her best winning 2 hurdles as well as being placed 7 times under Rules & on the Flat; she will be much missed by us all.

You might recall the very nice Mare we had in training fm 2017 to 2020, Point in Time, who won four races for us & was rated 80; she has just had a splendidly strong colt foal by the French Guineas & Prix Foret winner Make Believe; we shall watch his development with interest!
