@Pier4r I doubt some computer books hold any value, really I don't. But I hate throwing books in the trash. I do not know whether libraries locally will take things. Thanks for the ideas.

@kibitzingpatzer @chessbrilliancy @dgriffinchess It is cool, it is a photo copy though, but Bob only had his fax copy of course. But a unique artifact nevertheless.

@isofarro And then there is not being able to find anything. I nearly had to buy another copy of Jon Tisdall's Improve Your Chess Now! I put it somewhere safe... I found it when I was looking for another book I'd mislaid. Just one corner of by bedroom.

@Rahal_Michael @PattyLlaneza @escacs_cat I finished the extremely lengthy process of producing team lists for the Division Honor. I think if anything it was harder this year. I had to go to the page source to extract all the info I needed. It just shouldn't be this way.

@wrtlbrmft Sorry no. Lots of Everyman which I was sent at one time and then the books I bought over the years, games collections and so forth. There will be some rarities no doubt but most pretty ordinary.

Also have a big collection of CDs and going further back cassette tapes. The last time I listened to either format? Can't remember.

@TarjeiJS Hmmm, I'm not seeing any clear lessons from these stats! Arjun was struggling so he played fast, Max was struggling so he played slow. If I take above a certain amount of time it's not due to intellectual hard work, it's that I've no idea what to do.

@GMIgorSmirnov You have to try to raise the level of everything and there's only so much time. I would say I've become more interested in a) visualisation - I'm 58 and still working on this - Book - Cognitive Chess b) your thought processes including calmness and routine over the board.

@chessable Highly recommend Improving Endgame Technique: Rook Endgames Valeriy Aveskulov. Also the 2 Lars Schandorff courses on the QGD and Caro are exceptional. I'm pretty picky, you have not only to invest money, but time, to make these courses worth while, I only have so much of both.

@dgriffinchess A few years later I also got another book about him, Bobby Fischer: His Approach to Chess by Elie Agur, that was pretty darned good too.

Can someone recommend an AI book? Maybe an audio book for preference but a "serious" book, not AI for your side hustle or similar stuff. I'm looking in particular to see if I can't revamp my website. I read it's supposed to be particularly good at computing tasks.
