Had to put my dog down a couple hours ago. This is easily one of the hardest days I've ever had. It's going to be incredibly hard to live without her. I'm lonely and she was my buddy. Not sure when the crying stops, but I hope it's soon.

I didn't cry this hard when I lost my mom in late 2019. She was in a living hell though, dementia, bed ridden...her death was comforting in a weird way. Aside from the tumor, Misty felt fine. She wanted to play with the other dogs at the vet. Fuckk here it comes again ๐ญ๐ญ

Thank you and sorry for your loss too. Misty was so special. I don't have anyone but her. I never had to put a dog down either. I had dogs years ago but they died of old age, in their sleep. I can never do this again. I'm not mentally equipped for it.
