I agree this is way bigger than foreign policy, so why not do blanket holds, rather than holds on just State Dept nominees?
Focus on the "why" when it comes to the closing of USAID. It's all about corruption. Trump gets to pretend he's saving money to justify his giant tax giveaway to his corporate friends. Musk takes control of foreign policy so he can do favors for China - where he makes his $$.
