@AdamJPfeffer @WheatPete Not sure if Lemken will do or not, we have a heavy offset disc with 32" notched blades, tilt it back so just rear gang touches & rips holes in ice to let air in, it works as an ice breaker, not sure if any gain, it definitely makes you feel better that you tried to save the wheat

@ChristiFriesen Talk to your local health unit, may find that they will cover part of cost, if made available to the public, can't recall cost but couldn't have been too bad as I am a cheap prick. Funny thing is ours are available to general public, but local firehall's is behind a locked door.

@farmerschneck We have the safety version. My wife thought about that scenario, as it happened to our 1 son years ago with 1 of those big ass McDonalds straws they used to have, not sure where she got them, but the 1 end of the straw is ballooned a bit, so it's not near as sharp.

@Thacker1Dallas Can you DM me the details, my 20yr old son is thinking of going on a harvest crew this summer. July to Oct isn't too bad for us, as he would only miss wheat harvest here, he has his "Z" license endorsement in Ontario, experience on CR8090 & Lexion 8700, grain carts, etc

@JSCustomFarms @DeanPat57613010 We have a couple bushogs, 3pth & pull type, they work good, but we think a front mounted would be much better for fenceline maintenance and nipping off over hanging branches to save the scratches & damage on equipment

@JSCustomFarms @DeanPat57613010 We build our own adapters for the TV. Son has a tracked Kubota SLV95, I figured we could road the TV instead of trailering the Skidsteer. Probably use on either depending on situation. I find tracked skidsteer very rough on hard or rocky ground, I am getting old & feable.

@JSCustomFarms @DeanPat57613010 I would like something I could mount on our TV6070 that will cut or shred saplings and up to 6-8" trees along fences & bush areas. Figure it would be a lot quicker than something on a skidsteer.

@DeanPat57613010 I presume a drum muncher, how does it handle the odd rock that might be hidden amongst the shubbery ? Which 1 would you choose if you only had enough $ for 1 toy ?

@DeanPat57613010 That changed last summer, Macewen's told us a yr ago that Premium gas will contain min 5% Ethanol by summer of '24, no choice around it. We have a 500 gal tank, specially for small engines, sleds, Atv's etc. We still by Premium for it but add Seafoam Treatment to combat moisture

@CR9090JK Your customer should have good luck with that combo, we have 4-485 & 2-605 Horst running gear all on 445/65R22.5 rubber, and a couple Creek Bank bale racks. Have had real good luck with them.

@JoshBoersen I usually give them a tug out. I believe the world is round, and what you do goes around, comes around. If I don't know them & they are drunk, i typically call them in, if they damaged fences or property i will get all their info & make sure the neighbour knows who it was.

@Shawridgefarm @CanadianCowMan We hire guy with a Massey/ AGCO baler, probably not super tight since we pay by the foot. If we have him bale straw with knives in, there is good chance the 4 spear will pull up through the bottom bale & make a mess, 5 spear helps a lot with that issue. Straw bales weigh 9-950lbs
