@jpodhoretz You’re comparing apples to oranges here— a false equivalence. You’re comparing individual job loss to mass layoffs, which is a large-scale event with systemic consequences

Both of these articles helped give me footing for better understanding the underlying rationale for some of their behavior If the administration gave half of this kind of explanation for its rationale, it could’ve mitigated some of the distress we’ve experienced
