Happy 23rd anniversary to one of the greatest albums of all time Aaliyah’s self-titled “Aaliyah” aka The Red Album. A true masterpiece, every song sounds different. At the time it was a sound that we’d never heard before and it is still way ahead of it’s time. 🎈🎊🎉🕊️❤️
“When I look back, you’re everywhere, turn the page, you were there” it’s been 22 years since we lost you Aaliyah at 22. This year I just want to say thank for inspiring me in so many ways and getting me through some challenging days. You were too good for this world.
#RIP
One day we will give Aaliyah the credit she deserves for her iconic signature belly roll, as well as for having some of the smoothest choreography ever with 4 Page Letter.
A year ago today Aaliyah’s One In A Million was finally released on all streaming platforms as well as being available for physical purchase again after nearly two decades of being unavailable. It was an emotional but celebratory time for all Aaliyah fans. Still feels unreal ❤️
This Friday Sept 10th, one of the greatest albums of all time is being released to all streaming and digital platforms. Are You Ready? Aaliyah the album is coming.
#AaliyahIsComing

My guess is Aaliyah didn’t like the lyrics. She was like bish please I don’t need a man that badly to where I’m begging and pleading. Can’t breathe without you? Bish where? 😂
Aaliyah would’ve been a billionaire before she turned 30. Truly iconic. The way we’ve never truly seen someone dominate all areas of entertainment(music/hollywood) and business the way she was about to dominate. She was moving in silence
🚨🚨🚨🚨
The clothing line Aaliyah & Kidada Jones were planning to launch together was actually called “DALIPOP” (not Dolly Pop) Trademark was filed on July 23rd, 2001.
They were planning to release makeup, clothes, sunglasses, backpacks etc 😫
I wish we could hear what Aaliyah’s music would’ve sounded like today..all the incredible iconic musical moments she would’ve given us. I miss her so much.
The way One In A Million should’ve been Aaliyah’s first number one hit but that label didn’t release it properly. That song had people in a chokehold for months and still does years later.
The Beauty. The Elegance. The Class. The Regality. The Grace. The Aura. The transformation of our babygirl, Aaliyah, into the stunning Iconic Queen that she was destined to be. Forever loved and forever missed. ❤️👑🙏
Selena, Aaliyah, and Tupac are the biggest losses in entertainment. They were so young and all had decades more of films, music, and business that would’ve only added to their already legendary careers.
Let the cat out the bag. The Haughtons hate Barry now but where was the hate when Barry was still managing R Kelly up until 1998? I just want to know, did you have Aaliyah’s best interest then? Cause you should’ve gotten her far away from Barry after seeing him move like that.
Aaliyah was not only praised by legends, but she inspired legends too. She shifted the culture and even made legends change their approach to music, vocal styling and aesthetic. But that’s not a conversation people are ready for.
So sad at Aaliyah would’ve made it to the point where she was receiving icon and legend awards, lifetime achievement awards. Wish she could’ve lived long enough to truly receive her flowers
Aaliyah had an effortless swag that just can’t be matched. Sure people could do the moves but they wouldn’t look as good as she does doing it and they would be dancing too hard when her style was laidback. And her tone is elite too.
Just sitting here listening to Aaliyah Came To Give Love(outro) thinking about how it truly embodies what she was sent here to do. She lived her purpose, the love was & is felt. A lasting affect on millions of people around the world that continues to spread to new generations
It’s been 20 years since you passed Aaliyah and the world still loves and misses you. Not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and your beautiful spirit. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world and being an inspiration to so many. Forever loved ❤️🙏🕊
#RIPAaliyah
It hurts to think about the fact that Aaliyah died right before the promotion of her album went into overdrive..like she had so many award show performances, tv show performances, a breast cancer concert with the legendary Seal in October..she was really about to have her moment
Next round of Aaliyah music is being released to streaming services and iTunes at midnight tonight including the songs: Man Undercover, I Am Music, John Blaze, Up Jumps The Boogie
Has the Aaliyah slander not gotten old by now? I know some of y’all are getting old but yet you still have a child’s mentality. You been spewing the same hate for years and still have yet to experience any mental growth to rise above it.
I always had a hard time watching Aaliyah’s Miss You video but now it’s impossible. The beginning with DMX’s words to her and then they ended the video with DMX walking towards the big photo of Aaliyah... I can’t... 😭😭😢😢😭❤️💔🙏
Put Aaliyah videos on her official YouTube channel. Looks raggedy as hell that she’s the only artist that doesn’t have all her videos on her own channel. Upload performances in at least hd. Also put all of her songs that leaked on streaming as well as b-sides & soundtracks
Aaliyah would’ve never hopped on any of the waves of music trends since her passing. She never did, she created the wave and was never a follower. So in reality we have no idea what her music would sound like today but I can bet it would’ve been something we never heard before
Wait....this right here is just another example of her slaying her dancers...the guy didn’t even hit every step of the beat in the song like she did. Aaliyah is the Queen.
I’m convinced they hate Aaliyah because she was beautiful inside and out. There’s really nothing to hate about her neither is there anything about her that should make anyone feel the need to shade her. Heal yourselves. You hate her because she was/is good and you’re evil.
Why whenever an artist covers Aaliyah’s songs and butchers it, some people chime in and say well “Aaliyah couldn’t sing anyways”…y’all get on my damn nerves disrespecting her every chance you get. Aaliyah had a beautiful voice. Period.
No disrespect to Aaliyah in any way will ever be tolerated. She deserves every flower she gets. You can stay mad and pressed about it. Cause you spewing your hate is not going to stop her from being the legend that she will always be.
The way Aaliyah interacted with the fans on the Aaliyah forum back in 2001 makes me wish she was here cause she would’ve definitely taken the time to interact with us in the social media era.
The way it irks me that Hype chopped up that final dance scene when Aaliyah and her dancers were eating it up. He should’ve showed the whole dance at the beat switch.
When Aaliyah & the dancers turned around on that yacht and the beat dropped for the dance break - she clocked in for work & ate it up, leaving NOT a crumb in sight. Simple dance moves, making it look like perfection & its arguably the MOST beautiful music video!
Aaliyah’s vocal performance on I Care 4 U is pure excellence. The transitions, the runs, high notes, low notes, falsetto, breathy voice, full voice…it gives you everything
FINALLY the people that matter are including Aaliyah on a vocalist list like she deserves. Her voice is top tier, tone second to none, if you study her music you’ll learn so much about how great she was vocally and Rollingstone have always given her her flowers.
It’s really a big deal that Whitney Houston(The Voice) handpicked Aaliyah to star in Sparkle. Whitney loved Aaliyah’s voice and saw the potential she had as a vocalist. A real vocalist can recognize the gift of another vocalist. She would’ve given her so much more confidence.
The way Aaliyah should’ve had two back to back number 1 hits with More Than A Woman as the lead single and Rock The Boat as the second single. Then I Care 4 U being a strong contender, they dropped the ball.
I’m glad Aaliyah’s trending but I wish it wasn’t because of DMX’s situation. But it just shows how much of an impact their beautiful friendship has made.
I love that Aaliyah’s “We Need A Resolution” is getting its deserved flowers, it’s currently one of her top 3 streamed songs on Spotify. Still haven’t heard anything that sounds like it. Still ahead of it’s time in 2021.
If Aaliyah did still end up making Loose Rap a single, she would’ve had a few artists upset cause she was talking her ish, even if it wasn’t directed at them(a hit dog will holler😂) It also could’ve jump started Static’s solo career too earlier.
So sad to hear about the passing of Irish Grinstead from the group 702…so beautiful and genuine. Condolences to her fam and group members. Rest peacefully ❤️🙏
I just think about how many more times Aaliyah would’ve changed the game. Music would be so different now if she was here. She was in her own lane being lowkey but leading the pack at the same time. Every artist wish they had her sound with every new release.
We are truly getting 2 classic albums back to back, Silk Sonic and Adele’s 30. Real artists are ruling. That silk sonic album has no misses. Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak are an iconic duo.
