I just saw an awful campaign against her with someone else’s pornographic video/pictures. She got the culprits arrested, but this time it is being spread taggin Indian colleagues. Strongly condemn it. I request you all, if you see any such post, please report it immediately. Please show zero tolerance for this. Today it is Mona, tomorrow it can be any of you. Lets deal with it together. It is high time that women journalists and human rights defenders come together and make a united front against this kind of intimidation and scandalization. Hmmm...there are veterans who along with younger ones need to focus on issues throughout the year, identify them, and work on them. Challenges at times appear as if they have changed and at times one senses as if nothing has are other countries doing ?
As much as I love & support the Aurat March(es), & believe deeply in the cause, it's hard not to admit that they have gradually lost steam over the years, with marches decreasing in size & energy. This is called the routinisation of protest, & it happens with every movement. 1
