NTSB to hold a media briefing at 6 p.m. ET today on its investigation into Wednesday’s mid-air collision involving a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 airplane and a Sikorsky H-60 military helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Briefing will be held at the historic lobby in Terminal 1 at DCA.

The latest on the mid-air collision at DCA: -Black boxes have been recovered from the plane -The bodies of 40 victims have been found so far -Divers will be back in the water today to focus on recovering additional victims and salvaging the wreckage for investigators @wusa9
NTSB investigators recovered the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder from the Bombardier CRJ700 airplane involved in yesterday’s mid-air collision at DCA. The recorders are at the NTSB labs for evaluation.
