Corbyn: "we also lost the election because of the activities of the right in the labour movement and elsewhere that undermined a labour campaign which was one about transforming our society, challenging the elitist control of the media and of wealth and power in our society"
Why is
@BBCNews
telling people that exchanged Palestinian prisoner Nourhan Awad was “arrested on suspicion of being involved in a stabbing operation” when she was convicted of attempted murder to which she pled guilty after trying to stab innocent people on a Jerusalem street?
For the record I never murdered anyone.
I did risk my life to protect my people from suicide bombers and terrorists who did all they could to get past me in order murder children in their beds.
Just got back from 10 days in Israel, first time the kids have spent time with their Israeli grandparents and cousins in 2/12 years.
Our children are still little so this is more or less half their lives apart. It was a great holiday, but I feel I have to mention apartheid
Here's Nick Griffin, neo Nazi and former head of the British National Party telling his thousands of followers on Telegram to go listen to Roger Waters and Asa Winstanley talk about "the power of the Israel lobby"
Stunned that
@Amnesty
platformed Miko Peled in Geneva. Peled has attended a conspiracy conference in Tehran where he sat next to a German NAZI & spoke to Holocaust denier Nick Kollerstrom's KT group in London.
What does it take to convince Amnesty to see antisemitism?
Israel has just completed a two day military operation in Jenin. 12 killed.
Carlos Latuff appears to think it was like the Holocaust.
He’s known for coming second in a 2006 Iranian cartoon contest 1/3

because being in the country, makes this accusation seem so much more nonsensical.
Before we even left Ben Gurion airport we had to take a PCR test. Myself & family were swabbed by hijab wearing Israelis.
No surprise to my wife who worked as a nurse in Israel...
We went to the Baha'i Gdns & Science Museum in Haifa too, saw dinosaurs and a Nesher Jet. Jews, Muslims, others...Israelis all enjoying it.
The kids loved it. Seeing people of all races, ethnicities etc having fun together isn't what I think of when I think of 'apartheid' 🤷♂️
Where 1/3 of her team were Israeli Arabs working together healing Israelis day in day out
We took a trip to Haifa, visited Wadi Nis Nas to sample delicious sweet and savoury delights.
This is an Israeli Arab neighbourhood, Arab businesses, Jewish businesses = Israeli customers
Maybe Amnesty International's UK Campaigns Manager will convince you; "At no point in our report (Israel's apartheid against Palestinians: Cruel system of domination and crime against humanity) do we say "Israel is an apartheid state""
I'd say you can't make this shit up, but...
Israel is criticised as a reflex, it's criticised for what it does and doesn't do, it's criticised for its existence and would be attacked whatever
Just wander around the country and see for yourself that it's not an apartheid state...not that Amnesty ever claimed it was one
This month marks 20 years since I joined the
@IDF
. It's a period of my life where I put personal wellbeing to one side and became, effectively, an instrument of govt policy. I saw everything from the ground floor, the perspective of a grunt.
Some thoughts 20 years on...
I reported this account to Twitter yesterday and received an email from Twitter support this morning telling me that the account had been found "not to have breached our safety policies" (whatever that means).
I'm livid.
The National Union of Journalists launched a (now deleted) defence of a man named Kit Klarenberg.
Klarenberg is known to those of us who research conspiracy and/or antisemitic websites so it was a surprise to see the union supporting him. Let's take a quick look at his career
1) Klarenberg is not a journalist, he’s a fascist troll.
2) The Grayzone is not a news website, it’s a pro-dictator conspiracy blog.
3) The NUJ isn’t a credible trade union, it’s a fucking joke.
In fact their whole report started to fall apart as soon as it was scrutinised by the press IMO
Shortly after the release of the report (that doesn't claim Israel is an apartheid state), Amnesty UK admitted that it "exhibits institutional racism"
And you can find out the answer to that question and any others you might have by reading my book Beyond the Green Line available on Amazon for a steal at £5.99
People have been asking me about whether people are facing consequences for antisemitism. Let's take a look 🧵
This man was arrested before the demonstration even started last week apparently due to the antisemitic banner he was waving
This leaflet was being given out at a pro Palestine demonstration last month.
The headline shows why what's anti Zionist becomes antisemitic. The content is no better 🧵
I dare say few Jews will be able to make it to the Jewish Voice for Labour event as it’s being held on Rosh Hashanah one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar
This issue cuts to the heart of being visibly Jewish in Britain. They called the police and the police didn’t come, they ran for help and didn’t find it, worse they were held responsible for the damage done by the thugs attacking them and it was right in the heart of London
More (outrageous) details following an exclusive interview with the victims.
The woman was raised in London. The two men came to visit her from Israel, a cousin and a friend.
Last night, they visited Leicester Square. One of the men is wearing a Kippah, but decided to take it off
On a personal note when living in Israel I criticised the country, its govt and policies a lot.
eg
Since coming to the UK and seeing the demonisation of Israel I find that much harder to do.
The reason
@DavidHirsh
is attacked is because he is fearless in speaking the truth to people who can’t stand hearing it.
When he speaks out Jews who have been silenced feel a little better for the fact that he articulates what so many of us feel.
Here is Kit Klarenberg telling a hostage family member that his brother-in-law who was kidnapped by Hamas will be a “better person for the experience” because the rapist terrorists are “civilising” Zionists. I do not have the words for how DISGUSTING this is.

I'm going to make two predictions about this case
1. Miller won't get his job at Bristol Uni back
2. Miller is going to claim he won - regardless of the decision
Yesterday in Malaga, Spain I found myself among the remnant of the ancient Jewish ghetto.
Not much remains save for a street name 'Plaza de la Juderia' 🧵
In my latest for

I've written about the weird phenomenon of mass knee jerk defence of people making what I see as antisemitic comments if they're advocates for Palestine.

Tony Greenstein has written a book called 'Zionism During the Holocaust'. It's probably the worst book I've ever read. Worth reading the review to know just how low some will stoop in their view of Zionism
You can access the full review

I visited the Wiener library to see their exhibit on fighting antisemitism.
One of the exhibits is an 80 year old red book. This book was the ledger of a group of aristocratic Nazis called 'The Right Club'.
Their motto was Perish Judea
Churchill locked a lot of them up in 1940
I've been seeing a conspiracy theory that claims Epstein/Maxwell crimes were a Mossad operation. The same conspiracy has been shared by both Pro Palestine groups and neo Nazis which should be a wake up call.
My latest for

In 1939 as the clouds of war loomed, in fact as Nazi Germany was creating its justification for invading Poland the World Zionist Congress met in Geneva. Distributed at the event was a memorandum to delegates the contents of which may surprise people...
Here's something interesting from Winstanley's book that may be indicative of his relationship to sources.
To support his assertion that "experts identified just how inaccurate the media’s coverage of the Labour anti-Semitism “crisis” really was" he makes a specific claim...
Genocide enthusiasts everywhere will be pleased with The Morning Star. Apparently the evidence against China's assault on the Uighurs is "laughably weak"
Keir Starmer promised no more navel gazing, but instead of fighting the Tories, Labour is now beginning a Stalinist style purge.
All the people who portrayed Corbynism as scary authoritarianism will be those most loudly demanding ever bigger purges.
Electronic Intifada have written an article about kidnapped academic Elizabeth Tsurkov in which they admit they don't know anything about her.
It's a great example of how they package up nonsense to imply untruths that they won't state explicitly 🧵
Thread: It's nice that Israel has this new government, one that seems to represent everyone (and therefore probably no one) but in the diaspora if you're expecting the hatred of Israel to let up you're going to be disappointed here's why...
With the
@Amnesty
decision to attack Ukraine and their constant Israel Apartheid claims I decided to take a look at the tweets of their Secretary General
@AgnesCallamard
. Interesting things here, for example she tweets attacking 'Israel' but almost nothing on 'North Korea'.
I've written a review for
@fathomjournal
of Chris Williamson's book. He was embroiled in various controversies including over antisemitism during his time as an MP the Corbyn years.
You get an interesting insight into his thinking by reading his book...🧵
@CcibChris
Yes there is a need for more aircraft in the RAF, I do think it would be a more accurate comparison if the quality of the aircraft was also taken into account.
63 years ago Eichmann was waking up in Israel, having been drugged and flown there the day before.
Rafi Eitan commanded the operation. Here he discusses, with typical Israeli directness, what was involved. Most of his Mossad team had lost their families in the Holocaust.

so they can complain about Professor David Miller when they grow up,
David Miller has more....
It seems these fantasies of power struck a chord with Waters who is claiming that it is now he who is the victim of "Tel Aviv"
He's not the victim. The Jews forced to watch him spout antisemitic discourse are.
No wonder Griffin is loving him.
Here's UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese quote tweeting Winstanley to offer her "full solidarity" to Waters in support of his antisemitic utterances at concerts attended by thousands of adoring fans
Here's Winstanley pushing conspiracy theories about Zionists and Israel taking over the Labour Party, arming neo Nazis and doctoring reports.
You'd think if they could do all that getting a couple of gigs cancelled would be childs play...
For years he wrote for Russian propaganda site Sputnik. Here are two of his articles implying that there's the possibility that Assad didn't use chemical weapons on his own people.
In fact Assad, enabled by Russia, used chemical weapons to murder Syrian civilians in Douma.

We are outraged and disgusted that StandWithUs has been invited to sponsor an event taking place on campus this Friday, as well as a speaker who boasts of working extensively for the IOF. Please read our statement below.
How to be far left:
1. Claim the election you lost wasn’t democratic
2.Western politicians are fascists except politicians you support, they’re working class heroes
3. You’re not antisemitic you’re pro Palestine

5. Call friends ‘comrades’
5. Always claim victory

medics marched from St Thomas Hospital to Downing St they attended a meeting

and applauded Dr Ghada Karmi when she said:
"What you saw on Oct 7th was breaking out from the cage of Gaza by a resistance movement!"
Also, a minor point but it's irritating me, Winstanley claims Ralph Miliband served in the RAF during World War II. He didn't, he served in the Royal Navy.
@orbooks
did you do any fact checking?
So there you go, the man who was almost our Prime Minister, who has, apparently spent his whole life fighting racism is scheduled to speak on the platform of this org tomorrow alongside a Holocaust denier.
Surprised?
What more do I need to do than show him sitting at an antisemitic conspiracy conference in Tehran next to a German Nazi to convince

IMPORTANT STUFF🧵
CST was honoured to host His Majesty King Charles III at our headquarters. He met with volunteers, staff and trustees of CST; and was briefed on how we protect both our Jewish community and others. We thank him for his support of CST, our work and our wider Jewish community.
Personally I think whatever positive reputation
@amnesty
once had is being flushed down the toilet by people who think the big enemies of world peace are democratic countries acting to keep their populations safe.
This article is a good example of the issue of people not engaging with the criticisms made of Pro-Palestine activists but rather defending them on the assumption that if they're being attacked they're doing something right [short] 🧵
Salih doesn't want to argue about it but he isn't sure how many Jews died in the Holocaust "I'm not a historian I don't know whether 6 million died or 4 million died or 2 million died" he knows enough to discuss on TV whether the memory of the Holocaust is being exploited tho 🤔
Nazi Zionist Occupation Government fantasy sees every political act through the prism of a Zionist govt taking control of the world. I find this comment from Williamson eerily similar
On Tues night at the the demo against the Israeli ambo the crowd cheered a a man who said of Qasam Soleimani "we are jealous of his shahadah" & whose website claims "Zionists" engaging in interfaith with Muslims do so to stop Muslims being anti Israel.
In his book that claims the Israel lobby 'weaponised' antisemitism in

The question Dr Phil asked as to whether someone walking into someone's house and murdering them in their home V a bomb being dropped and accidentally killing civilians is interesting.
"As an organisation that rightly defended David Miller against the attempt to dismiss him because of his criticisms of Israel, we urge him now to delete this message, and to apologise for its content."
BRICUP abandon Miller
The source he offers in the book is an article in the Morning Star by researcher Jamie Stern Weiner.
One can only wonder whether Winstanley even bothered to look at the original source. He certainly doesn't quote from it
No one was trying to flee TO 1930s Germany they were fleeing FROM it.
The Nazis were trying to force out GERMANS whose ‘crime’ was their religion, sexuality, politics or some other deviation from the Nazi ideal
@a_webb
@secrettory12
There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?
