This kind of loss kind of discredits the entire Chiefs' dynasty and run. Being 6 in 2 of your 5 Super Bowls while barely winning the other 3 doesn't put you among the all-time great teams. #SuperBowl

I don't like them. But they have the best QB of his generation, with the best TE, and the best interior D Lineman. They have pro bowlers all over the defense and an excellent offensive line.

@KevG163 It's amazing they got that SB 12 film to look as good as they did. They fixed it by SB 15 but that SB 12 film was rough to watch visually.

I assumed George got over because of the general glamour and aesthetic of the 50's. Liberace's initial popularity was around the same time, and so was Little Richard. It fit with the TV presentation of the time. Wrestling usually follows the culture in that way @davemeltzerWON
Pretty sure you don't understand Gorgeous George. He was a short-term gimmick that caught on because TV was new and wrestling was a hit on TV. Look at August 5, 2009 issue, has top ten draws by year. It's always about hype and charisma from the promotion with the exposure and incumbent promotional status is huge. As far as what gimmick draws and doesn't, changes completely. Also, most historians believe Ali took more from Blassie even though he always said George, because he thought George made the better story.

@DDuggan21 Personally, I'd trade up for Cam Ward. He's everything you want in the modern NFL at QB. I'd be fine with Shedeur at 3, but if there is a chance to get Cam, I'd do it.

Again, wrestling is a carny circus at its core. Push what sells, regardless of your own personal taste. It's not some art form that you gate keep for. It's mass commercial pop culture.
