To this day, the bit of Fallout 76 that I find more consistently off-putting is that the game ultimately concludes that using nukes is fun, and should be encouraged, and there are no negative consequences, and it generates awesome loot spots, and it's just so bloody wrong-headed.

I like to think there's someone in Bethesda who programmed the clairvoyance spell for Skyrim and got so annoyed nobody used it, he added VANS into Fallout 4, and nobody used that either, so in a fit of rage he made it a basic function of Starfield's scanner so we had to use it.
