To everyone who turned their PhD-thesis into a book manuscript: What are your personal tips and tricks? What would you have liked to know earlier? What would you wish people had told you before? I would be very grateful to know π #Egypt #Egyptology #AcademicChatter

@CGraves88 It really was a great lecture π I don't think that you should ever feel nervous about it in any way, after all you are one of the most knowledgeable Amelia experts here. And absolutely true: we always need to question things, even if we think that we know them full well.

@glenparry8183 Lucky you! π So far, I have only ever been into Khufu's pyramid, but not the subterranean chambers. How was it in there?

I have received an Ammit appreciation poster π I think Ammit is such an interesting being & closely linked to Taweret. In fact I believe she came into being as Taweret's opposite in form & function, representing the deity's most dangerous aspects #Egypt #Egyptology #Egyptomania

@Coeur_d_Jay Sadly I don't know anyone in film, only people analysing films with Egyptian motifs... But maybe the right person will see your request

@Hragy @ImmortalEgypt That is a lovely name and, having read what you wrote about her, she truly deserved that name. Paving the way for younger generations of women... What a wonderful mother you had!

@AndresJanson I know exactly what you mean... But to be fair, if I were in the area, I would definitely stay a night there. For research purposes, of course ππ
