The Chanderbhaga area is blessed by Nagas,revered as their Kuldevtas,including Vasukhi Nag,Subar Nag,Surakh Nag,Gudsar Nag,Lata Nag,Bhurdwar Nag,and many others found in the Bhadarwah and Khash belt of Doda. Despite its richness, there is a scarcity of info about Nag culture.
Ancient echoes bind Jammu's soul with naags. The legend narrates that the lineage of all Nag Devtas in Jammu traces back to Vasuki Naag.
Bhaid Devta, the youngest scion of Vasuki Naag, ascended the throne of Jammu by bringing the Tawi River with him.

The term"Chenab Valley"stems from the concept of a Greater Kashmir,as envisaged in the Musharraf formula.Pro-Pakistan elements in J&K have attempted to rename the erstwhile Doda to"Chenab Valley"to favor Pak.
It's not that simple to understand all of this,so stay out of it.
Chenab Valley: It gets it's name from the might river Chenab flowing through all the valley. It consists of 3 districts Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban.
