If I'm curious about a stream I never watched before and the first thing I see is an ad, I just close it and watch something else. I wonder how many streamers lose potential new viewers because of that

@Ghostcrawler @Method Favorite theme and story is WotLK. Gameplay, systems and class design, MoP is my favorite. Honorable mention to Legion artifact weapons, class hall quest lines and Mage Tower. Last 3-4 expansions branched off too much in different directions and I lost interest in the story.

@itsmekatsa Retail is at the end of a major patch, and also one of the worst M+ seasons in years, which doesn't help. But let's not kid ourselves, all the big streamers playing Classic would attract tons of viewers regardless of what they are doing, even if they played retail.

@dwolf_010 @towelthetank I suppose it doesn't matter much at the end of the day. They are still getting paid, regardless of which version people are playing.

@dwolf_010 @towelthetank True, but either way it's not a good look for retail. Although a lot of the classic views has little to do with the game, and more so with the big streamer names, maybe Blizzard needs to ask themselves why the 20 year old version of the game is so much more popular.

@dwolf_010 @towelthetank Maybe he is referring to the timing of the tournament? Onlyfangs are doing their first raid in Classic at the same time and has like 20x more viewers. Or maybe it's something else, I'm somewhat out of the loop myself

@ctoLarsson Come on, CTO, EU is great. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't enjoy amazing things like the cap that's firmly attached to plastic bottles, and needs 8 attempts to screw back on. Who needs space travel, AI and crypto...?

@tactyks Good changes. Was hoping they'd move Myth track from vault down to +8 or 9 so it's more equal to Dragonflight gear progression. It's capped at 1 item pr week anyway, so it's not like you'll get showered in gear. Made it so much more alt friendly as well.

@towelthetank I personally don't like Prot Warrior crazy high apm, but I don't think slowing it down is a good choice. A lot of warrior players enjoy that playstyle, and play Prot Warrior for that very reason. Plenty of other tank issue for Blizzard to work on.

@Wowhead Candle mechanic is gonna be major depleter/disbander. Will probably get fixed 3-4 months into the season, when it's too late

@Theunwow Difficulty has been steadily increasing, while rewards have gone the opposite way. And they wonder why M+ participation has plummeted...

@tactyks I guess you're right, and we'll see once the the PTR is up. After all the changes they made for TWW, I lost so much faith in Blizzard. I really hope I'm wrong about everything and they make lots of great changes for S2, but so far I haven't seen much to make me want to come back

@imquazii @larianstudios Agreed. Absolutely amazing game. How many replays did you do? I did 3 and still feel like I could do more to try different playstyles and story options

@elonmusk Maybe add an option to the 3 dots menu where you mute/block people? Like "mute specific words in this post" type of thing, so it takes you to the correct sub menu.
