I thought I'd share a mock-up of roughly what my game will look like. Its not a platformer though despite what it looks like, it'll play like a normal RPG maker game just its side view.
Nothing in the image is final, I just wanted to give a general idea of what I'm going for.

This is a new character for my game, her name is Matcha.
She will be a main NPC in charge of maintaining and upgrading Kayla. She is also the person that integrated Kayla's brain with an android.
Side note: In my game's lore it is stylish to not wear much clothing.

Here is the new concept OC I've been working on.
She has no name as of yet, feel free to leave suggestions(I'm bad at naming characters, but I like short 1-2 syllable names).
I used this opportunity to use different brushes for shading.

Game update: Nothing too exciting, trying to build the hydration and desperation systems.

Doing some character concepts today.
The game is going to be set in a distant future and the main character is a cyborg girl where the only part of her that is human is her brain, the rest of her body looks human but is a kind of bio-robotic like, so parts can be swapped out.

I think I might try change up the way I shade, the current way is to ridged and hard, I want it to look more organic and natural but still in a anime style(not realistic).

Works been flat out atm so game progress has slowed a lot... And now I'm starting to feel a bit burnt out because working all day then coming home to kind of more work is taking it's toll... So I think I'll just work on it only on the weekends for a while. =_=

So earth ver. 2.02.3 seems to be running smooth for me so far.
Some people have had issues with blurry vision, coordination and slurred speech on the switch over, but that's pretty standard with all the earth version updates.

I'm learning Blender but it'll be some time before I try making a 3D Maki.
This is just an example of what I have made in blender, it took a long time to render and my laptop sounded like a jet plane. I need to buy a fairly powerful PC to do more complex models.
