Fantastic afternoon at the Year 7 & 8 Sefton Indoor Athletics. Thank you to @ChesterfieldHi leaders & staff for hosting. Y7 girls took 1st place🥇 & will now represent Sefton in the Merseyside games! Well done to Y7 boys & Y8 girls who placed 2nd, & Y8 boys who placed 3rd. 👏🏼 🏃🏼‍♀️

Five girls from years 7 & 8 were selected by Everton in the Community staff from the ‘She Inspires’ programme to attend Finch Farm and meet first team players to celebrate their successes. Everton in the Community staff said that the girls’ manners were impeccable. 👏🏼 ⚽️

We were fortunate to be joined by Marcus Wareing. Marcus is a Michelin-starred Chef, Restaurateur, TV Personality & Acclaimed Cookbook Author. Known for his role as a Judge on BBC TV Masterchef: The Professionals, he shared his journey & inspired our students in Q&A session.

As part of our most recent school focus of ‘taking responsibility for the school environment’ in-line with the Maghull High Way, students have made a conscious effort to ensure our school is clean and tidy. Look at how spotless students left our canteen area after lunch! 👏🏼 🚮

This week, as part of our drive to take responsibility for our school and community environment, our Student Leadership Team conducted a litter pick across the school grounds. We will enter into next week continuing our push to keep our site clean and tidy. 🗑️ 🌳

A brilliant 3-1 win against a tough Range High side for our Y7 in the Sefton Cup. Goals from Alex C, Isaac R and Jake S ⚽️⚽️⚽️ MOTM performance on his debut for Archie C and special mention to Brodie D who played extremely well too ⚽️

Y9 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Hope University this week. Students were able to find out more about what universities offer and the different pathways available, in order to be able to access higher education. All students were given a tour of the campus 😃👏
