Incorporating some of the childrens interest of sweet and sour, we added some dipping sauces. Ketchup for sweet, Vinegar for sour and added soy for salty and sweet chillie for spicy. "Sweet" "A wee bit strong" "Spicy" "Quite sour" "Yucky" "Tomato" "My gran makes chips like you"

Making Jelly for snack brought alot of inquiry and investigation skills. "Its quite sticky" "It smells so good" "Feels like a stretchy man" "It will melt into juice" "Dissolve means it dissolves and stuff" "Soo hot, we're not allowed to touch it" "Cold, it would get harder"

With a little help from the nursery, we started to learn signs for our school values. Teaching children “Signalong” supports our school values of Respect and Care by including all our learners in communication.

The costume exchange is up and running the the school reception area! Feel free to pop in 🎃

Thank you for all donations for our Harvest Assembly and to the families that were able to join us today. We have had a huge amount of donations that will be getting dropped off to @EL_Foodbank next week. Well done to the nursery for singing and signing Big Red Combine Harvester
