Yummy ice pop treats for the whole class going on the golden star yesterday 🌟

We were so proud of all the children this morning ... the class assembly was amazing! It was so good that we just had to put the whole class on the golden star 🌟🌟🌟

As part of our Take One Picture art project, we completed a science investigation about camouflage. The children had to try and find different camouflaged items in the school grounds. #MabsScience1

The children took part in a Lego Workshop with Electro City Builders. They were set the challenge to work in teams to build a city and then light it up! Great team work and creativity. #STEM #LEGO

What a fantastic sports day! The children were so well behaved, listened to instructions and joined in so well 🏆⚽️ I am so, so proud of all the children today. #MabsPE1

We’ve been playing some Victorian playground games today including hopscotch, clapping games and ‘The Farmers in his Den.’ We had great fun! #MabsHistory1

Mrs Webster bought the class an ice pop each for working so hard on their phonics this year. Well deserved and very much enjoyed by all on a hot day! ☀️

Today in computing we used our New Press Play headphones to listen to a Toys experience. We traveled through time to return the toys Teddy had taken. We traveled to the Victorian era to return a doll. We had so much fun listening to the story.

We tried to write using chalk just like the school children did in Victorian times. We found it very tricky! #MabsHistory1

We’ve been doing lots of extra phonics activities this week - playing games, using flash cards and completing fun worksheets. We’re all doing so well!

Today we were practicing our rugby kicking skill’s in PE. We had the challenge to get a golden cone, it was so much fun #MabsPE1

We did an experiment in science to find out ‘How does it feel?’ We felt different item such as flour, oil, syrup, cornflakes and an ice lolly. We described how each one felt different. #MabsScience1

We were exploring dynamics in music this week. We used instruments to play along to a song, changing from playing loudly to quietly as the music changed. #MabsMusic1
