🇷🇺ENGELS AIR FORCE BASE 0.5M📸 Dec 12. Saw a message on the tarmac where the Tu-95s usually are. I'm not a russian speaker but will let someone else translate СМЕРТЬ НАЦИСТАМ but google says 'death to the nazis'. @FouthTimeLucky @vcdgf555 @IntercityFC @SMACT72 @LanguageIearner

🇺🇸Carrier Strike Group 8🇺🇸 Looks like CVN-75 transited the Suez NB on 4 February and arrived in Souda Bay around 13:00 UTC on 6 February Wonder where Gettysburg is?
📍 SOUDA BAY, Greece – The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and the guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham arrived at Naval Support Activity Souda Bay for a working port visit Feb. 6 following two months of combat operations in the @CENTCOM area of responsibility.

@jesususama @JorgArboleda The SOCAL op area is a very common place for CVNs to 'practice' prior to deployment I think you are reading too much into it, that's just my opinion of course

@MeNMyRC1 great summary! Basically anything north of San Esteban Island (aka Isla Turon) is Mexican waters (at least that is my take). She gave it a wide berth

@natsecboogie @Borrowed7Time @sipjack1776 reading the decree section of that document and putting it on the map, I get the following (very rough). The baja side is easier with the place names

@natsecboogie @Borrowed7Time @sipjack1776 I've used UNCLOS as a guide... could be wrong but seems clear on the 12nm concept which also aligns (as stated in the doc) with the territorial sea

@ItaMilRadar there were 3x vessels that looked like warships (to me) on 2 Feb 2025 (~50 km E/SE of Malta) caveats apply but could be Grigorovich, Golovko and Otrakovsky and as @antomas13356887 said, a common anchorage during transit for 🇷🇺navy

🇺🇸Carrier Strike Group 1🇺🇸 Based on data from @flightradar24, it would appear that CSG 1 is operating SE of the Riau Archipelago in the South China Sea as of ~06:04 UTC on 3 Feb 2025 Reminder, she was in port in 🇹🇭Thailand last week

As @tshugart3 pointed out today, GSI has cranked out a bunch of new platforms (as shown on the first image). Note, there are other amphib platforms still being built as seen in other📷 Not 100% sure this sub was built at GSI as this is the only sighting so far Time will tell...
