NEWLY FOUND/UNUSED/UNMIXED/REDUCED SOUNDTRACK VOCALS: A Thread 🧵
After doing some editing in certain programs, I have found that since the MSM soundtrack songs are not mono but instead stereo
(1/?)
While not really unused, just more of an obscure fact, in msm DOF adult Pango has a stock watermark on its torso that you can see when you make it high contrast.
8 years ago, there were multiple MSM ads that played on the long vertical touch screens in movie theaters, since then these videos have become lost media, and the only hd footage was found in a playlist made by MH Chris, but the video has since been privated.
The MSM Japanese version had extremely different names of certain things!
For instance, Earth island was called soul island, and almost all of the bios were different!
We will be making a thread soon on all of the differences and info about this version of the game.
Originally when the mythical Anglow released, its second track had more effects on it, the one in game now has those effects turned down.
Here’s the old audio
1 year ago, in a trailer post for the seasonals in composer, a beta version of Hoola and Viveine was included in the video.
Along with this, Boo'qwurm was also included, who at the time was not released.
After doing some editing with Pentumbra’s old vocal, I am led to the conclusion that Pentumbra was in fact fully mixed from another audio sample.
Pentumbra’s old tracks when put together have very different notes yet have the exact same audio and vocal recording.
Tribal island maw has only the high pitched layer of its layered vocal able to be heard, although it’s very quiet.
This version also plays a different track, with different notes and parts at some points
Also for some reason, in the TikTok for wave 4’s release, it’s almost impossible to hear the instruments behind Pentumbra’s second track, and I think it might even be lower than the video we sent.
if you split them to mono and edit them a bit, certain fully unmixed sounds/Certain parts of a layered vocals, AND diffrent tracks that you cant hear in song can be heard that would be considered unobtainable by normal vocal editing methods.
This is also backed up by Dave Kerr himself.
He doesn’t 100% know, but he did not voice it, and as a professional in his field his guess is probably the most likely answer.
