@iamrahstradamus The difference is we’ve NEVER seen him excel vs the best teams in the playoffs. In 8 playoff games he’s 3-5 w/13 TD, 7 INT, 4 fum. Thrown for 200+ yards only 3 times (lost all 3). Won @TEN, HOU (rookie QB), and vs a dead PIT team. Lost vs LAC, TEN, @BUF 2x, @CIN, KC.

People outside of PIT in the national media/fan base who love Tomlin & think he’s great don’t get it. It’s not just his piss poor game mgmt. He’s in full control of a defense that has given up 35 ppg in their L9 playoff losses. He’s hired all the dinosaur OC & DC. He’s the issue.

@MySportsUpdate I think with how quickly NFL coaches can get fired, they typically take the security of re-signing vs. letting the open market drive their future. At least the salary cap/dead money implications forces teams to be more careful w/player decisions compared to coaches.

With @Commanders win tonight, Dan Quinn (4) now has more playoff wins than Mike Tomlin (3) since 2010. Dan Quinn became a HC in 2015, was fired week 5 of 2020 season, wasn’t a HC for more than 3.5 years until being hired again by WSH this season.
