Vietjet's president Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao visited the US from 9 to 11 January, met Donald Trump and Elon Musk. She might have been discussing Vietjet's expansion including planned direct flights to the US. Tommy Nguyen, Thao's son and heir, is behind her in the group photos.
