The funds have been officially released to the Council Chairman of Mashegu Local Government, Hon. Umar Jibrin on the 11th of February, 2025 to assist affected families, provide medical aid, and support community rebuilding efforts. Israel’s regional supremacy depends on U.S.-brokered and maintained “peace” accords with Jordan and Egypt, which Trump is putting at risk, to the delight of the Israeli right wing. By humiliating King Abdullah and demanding President Sisi accommodate the ethnic cleaning of Gaza – proposals which would destabilize and likely topple their respective regimes – he is weakening them, and thereby weakening Israel. The Washington establishment hates Trump because he acts as a bull in a china shop, discarding soft power and damaging decades of imperial statecraft. October 7 may have set into motion not only the collapse of Israel, but the collaborator regimes too. I make no predictions, but we could be on the precipice of a fundamental reconfiguration of the geopolitical arrangement in the Middle East, with Gaza at the center of it all. This is how empires fall.
