After he promised in 2020 that there will “not be another foot of wall constructed” 😂
Someone is clearly getting nervous about his 2024 chances.

I often wonder what Putin would’ve been doing if he didn’t have Lavrov. He had played such a key part in the rise of Russian diplomatic image since the war began.
@RWApodcast
Putin definitely acted too naively and showed too much good will to the West over the years. However, on the grander scale, this ended up being a trap for the West to box itself in because they were too greedy.
National Guard, CIA and FBI called up to San Francisco ahead of APEC Summit. Streets cleaned off of homeless, drug addicts and needles. Extensive barricades put up. Democrats know how to fix their cities when it’s for the elites, but not for peasants.
Victoria Nuland announced the intention to step down as Under Secretary of State! Will she be the next NATO chief?
I can’t imagine that she just wants to retire. I also don’t see this as her being fired as there was really no apparent conflict between her and either Blinken or

That’s not for you to decide, but the courts and the courts punted on it. The only election challenge filed by Trump was in Georgia and failed to even set a date for it despite being legally required to do so. You are defending election cheating again.
It's now day 6 of AG Ken Paxton impeachment trial in Texas. And this is House Speaker Dade Phelan a few month ago drunk out of his mind on the floor of the House. Paxton called for him to resign over this incident and now the retaliation has come.
Paul Ryan is the guy who together with McConnell sabotaged Trump in his first 2 years in office then became a board member at Fox and Clinton connected Teneo. He is as swampy RINO as it gets, no wonder he supports neocon Nikki.
@DD_Geopolitics
Medvedev’s and Putin’s positions seem quite a bit different. Putin didn’t say anything in the interview about Ukraine ceasing to exit by the end of the war while Medvedev openly states so.
@robin_j_brooks
I don’t see anything “absurd” about small countries wanting to drastically improve their economies by fulfilling in-demand needs.
You gotta start getting used to the idea that hegemonic bullying by the West isn’t going to be as effective moving forward.
@krassenstein
@CraigChamberlin
He “reduced” inflation by killing the economy. Look at 2007 and you’ll see a very similar picture. Good GDP growth and records low unemployment and yet we all know what happened next…

@ClearVoteIn
Come on Ed! Why are you being so gaslightingly dishonest? This 6B that Iran can now spend on food etc frees up another 6B of their own that they can spend on anything including funding Hamas!
@I_Katchanovski
When you have Chrystia Freeland (granddaughter of Ukrainian nationalist) as your Finance Minister and celebrate literal WW2 Nazis in parliament, it’s safe to say Canada’s admin doesn’t care.
@Nigel_Farage
Doesn’t make a difference whether it’s Tories or Labour, UK has no true leaders at the moment except for select few individuals like Nigel.
@BowesChay
Too early for that comparison. Soviet Union was the poster child for “you’ll own nothing and be happy” agenda. EU is certainly striving towards that dystopian future, but certainly not fully there yet.
@witte_sergei
European NATO leaders are underestimating the internal impact of this. They’ve been playing with house money thus far (Ukrainian lives). Once their own people start dying , the public mood is going to become much worse towards this war.

My thoughts on Tucker Carlson's interview with Vladimir Putin:
1) Putin didn't say much that was new. He reiterated extensively on the historical context that precipitated the current conflict and revealed the nature of some conversations he had with Clinton and Bush regarding
@SarahAshtonLV
It’s incredible how long you guys are able to maintain this lie that Ukraine is winning despite all the clear signs to the contrary. I guess when your entire fundraising strategy depends on it you kinda have to.
@McFaul
To have peace negotiations, you have to have reasonable proposals. Not a single politician in the West or Ukraine has any so far. This failure stems from fundamental misassessment of the status of the war.
