This little vicious streak is the most compelling thing about Cody as champ, imo. (See also: hitting a handcuffed AJ Styles with the steel steps after he’d already won the match). He could turn heel seamlessly at any point; he’s already walking the knife’s edge.

Finally, I appreciated the loose ends that add a layer of mystery to a story that’s been nearly done to death. Specifically the contract stuff - the implication that Orlok is bound by certain rules and stipulations, that he may be a subordinate to an even older evil. 4/4
