We had sub-freezing temps last cycle. Even if you kept your thermostat at 68, your unit had to work extra hard to maintain the inside temperature. For example, if it's 60 outside, then your unit only has to make up 8 degrees to maintain 68 inside. If it's 20 outside, your unit has to make up 48 degrees. That's why winter bills are often much higher.

President McGowen - In terms of payments, XAI is treated like every other customer when it comes to their utility bill. If they do not pay they will be cut off. They have paid in full and we collected late fees.

President McGowen understands concerns with xAI projects. Yesterday Council heard the presentation for a grey water plant. We share the desire to reduce the amount of drinking water used for coolant.
