For damn near 20 years the winner of the NFC was the presumptive SB champion and the NFC Championship was considered the meeting of the two best teams i.e. Niners v Cowboys v Giants v Redskins v Packers v Bears. From 81 - 98 only 1 AFC team won the SB.

Obviously Barry would have got there w/o retiring after 10 years, but fact remains that no other player hit this mark. 12 years, 1200+ And cant deny that guy has better YPA than a lot of other HOFers. His YPA are better(equal to) than Emmitts, Curtis Martin, Tomlinson, Bettis, Dorsett, Faulk, Edgerrin James, Allen, Franco...all HOFers.
