Formerly held by @repkmr who succeeded the retiring @dankildee. 97 days and counting since the General Election and still has not called the Special. A 52% D seat that is flippable; should it flip, the State Senate would be tied and Whitmer would be a boxed in lame duck. In 2023, when two Democrat Michigan State Representatives won mayoral races in Warren and Westland, the Specials were called 15 days after the election.
