Id like to give huge props to the

track crew. They haven’t had a race this year. Not even a practice. So to show up with arguably one of the best fields of 410’s you’ll see this year and give them that kind of racetack to show their skills was awesome!

Lots of experts out there tonight so let’s clear it up. The LCS I threw the yellow to hastily. Thought for sure they were gonna stop. The feature I didn’t. That’s the normal call in those situations (no call). Never gonna please everyone but I will always try to be transparent.

Well I don’t think might 1 was horrible. Heats a bit one lane but the feature had enough action throughout it for 130+mph. A pass for lead, 9th starter challenging for the win, kudos to all the drivers in the feature tonight! Hell of a job!!

Well it just wasn’t meant to be. Had a hell of a nice car tonight. Just pushed it a litttle to hard and the pistons hit the plugs and closed them up. We’ll get it fixed up and give it a go Saturday!

Was the track perfect? No. Was it wayyy better than last night? Absolutely! The track crew worked their asses off today and with dry weather tomorrow, some of the humps and bumps will hopefully disappear. As I said, patience, all will be alright!

My dad grew up with KO in Rockford. Knew him my whole life. He helped me with some safety gear and advice when I started driving midgets. Absolutely gutted to hear the news today. I’m sure him and dad are telling stories already again. RIP KO

So from what I can tell, out of the 24 starters of the Usac midget feature, there were only 2 different engines in the field. 16 Toyotas and 8 SR11's. 11 teams made up the 24 starters. I feel like those are scary stats...

3 hour and 5ish minute show tonight from hot laps to feature checkered. 64 total cars, 49 410, 15 pro sprints. Few yellows and a good track. All officials, push trucks and everyone involved did good job tonight. Long lines at many drivers pits for pics and autograph.

I throw the yellow when I look at turn 2 and there’s a car sideways that appears to be stopped. As soon as the second yellow came out of my mouth he straightened up and kept rolling. I’m damned if I do, damned if I don’t. Could of very easily had a car pile into the slow car

The bottom 30ft of the track was slop. Pure slop. Tried running it in. Just too cold. Wouldn’t be safe for ANYTHING racing on Eldora tonight. We HL’d and qualified to save the time tomorrow afternoon bc that could be done safely and to get 2 shows in this weekend for everyone.

That was fucking fun! I’m old and fat and fell outta the seat but felt like I put good laps together early in the race. Fuel got low at the end and car was missing so couldn’t drive it hard. Altogether it was a fun night! Thanks

Just an FYI, the first sprint heat checkered around 8:05. First Late model feature horn sounded around 8:40. Approximately 35 minutes between race and first horn. 45 minutes through the horn.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned. CMS tried new dirt that obviously doesn’t work well. They’ll regroup and get better. We got the feature finished, season finished and champions crowned. On to 2021....

Rain is forecast for after 10 tomorrow night now. It’s sucks but it just wasn’t feasible tonight to put on any type of race. Some can run their pie hole and that’s fine but if the race went on and we piled a race up because of track conditions, they’d be whining about that also

I’ll clear this up for you, I threw the yellow watching the leader making sure we had enough cars across to make the lap legitimate. I didn’t know the 1s had any problems until yellow was called. I was throwing the yellow to stop for tear offs to make sure drivers could see.
