Tigers had the biggest long term deal of over 170m for 6 yrs, but I did not expect a team to offer $40 mil a year, it’s a great deal for Bregman. At the end of the day, I think the Astros did well not to offer that. Time to move on now.
Alex Bregman wanted long-term deal but no one was going to touch the $40 million a year the Red Sox paid. @Chandler_Rome first with the deal.

I’m satisfied with the Astros efforts in trying to bring back Bregman, it was a very fair long term deal w/chance to cement his legacy here, but Red Sox went way above with 40m/year. Alex gets his pay day & what he wanted at this point. Good for him

Chiefs completely stopped Barkley, so Hurts had to make all the plays, & he did exactly that against Spagnuolo’s defense with his arm & legs. Houston native stepped up on the biggest stage. Could be considered top 5 QB.

Absolutely deserved. Allen was the most valuable to his team, & didn’t have 8 other pro bowlers around him like Lamar. His impact was so critical to their success. 13 wins, only lost to 3 playoff teams. Lamar had an amazing year but lost to Raiders & Browns.
