Judiciary Dems punted @Kash_Patel one week per Committee rules (since Feb 6) — Today met that 1-week deadline so he will be report (advance) to the Senate floor. (No longer bound by the Committee's rule). Then Vote to Cloture, Debate 30 hrs, then Final Vote.
Okay here's the deal: It comes down to Judiciary Committee rules, which allow a week delay at the request of ANY committee member. It has nothing to do with Thune. Same thing happened with @PamBondi. Dems are still just delaying the inevitable. Luckily, Judiciary Chairman @ChuckGrassley has said they'll send @Kash_Patel to the floor, "168 hours from now." We have the votes to confirm, Democrats cannot do ANYTHING to stop us, or Kash. Hope this helps.
