@MCCFireService can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an accident near Kilmoon Cross this evening. No other vehicles were involved. One crew member was taken to hospital. The person is in a stable condition and their family has been notified. @meathcoco

@MCCFireService Navan and Trim brigades attended a large domestic house fire in Navan is his morning .The quick response from the brigades prevented the fire spreading to the adjoining houses. All residents were evacuated.

Rain after prolonged dry spells can make roads extremely slippery due to rubber & oils from vehicles & vehicle tyres building up on the road surface during dry weather, this build up becomes lubricated by the first rains and seriously reduces your tyres' grip. Reduce your speed.

@MCCFireService leading the arrival of the @MeathFire Blazers at the finish line of the @RaceAroundIrl 2018 this evening in Trim.. The team completed the grueling 2200km journey in 77hrs and 1min. This secured the best time for the 8 person category in 2018..

@MCCFireService dam acting as a water source for @coilltenews helicopter. This dam close to the fire in Frayne Bog allowed the helicopter to drop 400 liters of water every 90 seconds. This enabled 16,000 liters of water to go on the fire every hour. Great teamwork. @LMFMRADIO

@MCCFireService Nobber station today say a fond farewell to their old station where a €1.1M building upgrade project begins.. The crew will be in a temporary station for the next few months and still providing a full emergency response 🚒🚒🚨🚨👩‍🚒👩‍🚒
