@KobanPunished Its the lighting i think. Older snowscapes like this are lit very flatly, which is closer to how actual snowscapes are lit in real life. Modern games cut a lot of the fog and the lighting is deeper and varied, which is not how cold landscapes look.

@ReddCinema I think a lot of it is body temperature. I find its way easier to fall asleep if my bed is warm and my room is cold, which is usually how it is in the mornings.
