A very sad day indeed. Prof. Nolte’s work on glycoluril derived supramolecular systems was inspirational to me and many others!
Yesterday my promotor and dear friend Roeland Nolte passed away, fully unexpectedly. More than an iconic scientist, he was one of the most sincere, friendly, and supportive persons I have ever met. He will be genuinely missed by everyone.
