And guess how many arm injuries he has? If guys go long we make sure they put in the recovery work to be ready for their next start. Why are we playing these games? Show me the pitches of our competition on the year. Show me the arm injuries I’m all for it.

If he continually did that absolutely i agree. Doing it once in the last game of the year yeah not so much. Again let’s compare to other kids his age guarantee he’s way under total pitch count and doing work others aren’t to be able to handle that work load.

Let’s keep in mind the kid is 6’2 220 and wanted the ball and had 2 outs for a while. Here’s the pitches over 50 games since march would love to see everyone else’s. Crazy to me that people want to beat down kids that put in the work for these moments
