Thoroughly self-aware, stocked with self-reflexive gags and gorily-orchestrated kills, #HeartEyesMovie / #HeartEyes is endearing with its delightfully zippy charms. It makes us swoon and squirm in equal measure. My review via @Variety:

#MadS runs at a bullet train speed. A French zombiepocalypse indie that absolutely riiiiips. It’s my two favorite things: intense & innovative. Laurie Pavy OWNS. Great sound design. The last half hour is demented & disturbing AF. Drop what your doing & watch it on Shudder.

#PaddingtonInPeru is adorable, whimsical & charming - even left me w/ a lump in my throat. But it lacks that extra special “Paul King touch” that made the 1st two spectacular. Still, good. Olivia Colman & Antonio Banderas understood the assignment. Stay thru THE FULL end credits
