ElevenLabs has removed all titles. Now, there's no "VP of X", "Head of Y", or "Director of Z". Instead we are just Growth at ElevenLabs, Engineering at ElevenLabs, etc. Why? We're small, growing incredibly quickly, and hierarchy just gets in the way. Instead the best idea wins.

On Sunday, @austin_malerba and I locked ourselves in a room for 18 hours to see what we could build with the new Sound Effects API. Pretty pleased with the result! My first time using GPT-4o vision and wasm based FFMPEG for client-side video manipulation.
We are excited to introduce the Text to Sound Effects API. To showcase it - we've built the first Video to Sounds Effects app. This app is available for free online and fully open-source.

Great example of a product person building in public. Masterclass in:.- getting early customer UX feedback.- validating demand for new features.- driving product awareness. Works particularly well as it’s a visual product with the customer being marketing people active on twitter.
Ok! I'm pretty excited. First 'kinda working' version of iPhone direct recording in All I had to do was connect it to a USB cable. A lot of things to polish, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
