I am always looking for good small talk fodder/med stud teaching while waiting for anesthesia to get a level. Absolutely obsessed with these historical factoids from Dr. Barbosa. Never knew that the golden handles on certain needle drivers had any significance! 🤯

@rbarbosa91 Fascinating. Typically we use a rapidly absorbable suture for a B-lynch as the uterus will involute, leaving big loops of suture that we would rather dissolve quickly to reduce the risk of an internal hernia.
