I'm really side-eyeing those "ugh, but we saw Arya as a child!" reactions to Arya's (semi) nude scene. It's patronizing. She isn't a child anymore. Arya's 17 or 18; Maisie's 22, and she chose how much to undress (or not at all.) Also: it's just a fucking naked body. Calm down.

Silva is out for the final issue. What really happened BTS? The "Rise" half of this ending (including Forever and Dead) has been going swimmingly, while the "Fall" half (including X-Men) has been an embarassing failure. This is the first obvious crack on this side of the story.

Instead of MAKING the viewer (and Rhaenyra!) notice Harwin, he just does cool little things in scenes that are about something else: he's the only one smiling at Rhaenyra's return in 1x03; he lets her off the hook in 1x04; he dances with her and gets her out of danger in 1x05.

I miss subplots in comics. Maybe not to the level of Claremont, who tried to juggle 20 subplots at the same time, but still: with few exceptions, there are no running threads in the background of a main story anymore. It's all 5-6 issue arcs, with no foreshadowing, no threading.
