What makes a difference in reading in AP? When pupils won’t read? We can over complicate this as much as we like,,, But simplicity rules. Just read the story. Read the story. Again, and over. Love it. Communicate your love for it. Know it and why it matters.

What I love about the team @Nine_MaidensAPA is that never does an attuned focus on the ‘whole child’ and being ‘trauma informed‘ ever, ever, become a reason to not to provide the best education. Pupil voice resolute. Our learning makes us think.

I had the privilege be in this classroom@Nine_MaidensAPA. Expectations through the roof; a focus on language, talk& listening… Language empowers. We need to show all the empathy in the world. But it is through education we make the difference.

Blown away by the latest look at Art sketchbooks in primary @Penwith today. It’s beyond books though. It’s not what’s in the books that endures but in the heads, hearts and hands. These outcomes @penwith primary department today are out of this world. Curriculum matters.
