Every year since I got into VR at the beginning of 2017 people have been saying “VR is dying” or “VR is dead”. Every single year and it runs its rounds and then the same people saying it continue to do their thing and praise VR like they didn’t just say their world was crumbling. Say it enough and chances are they’ll get it right eventually but in this case they’re saying it so much and with the size of these influencers every year they say it they’re just damaging it more by putting people off from joining in. If I was looking to get into VR today and I seen this type of content I wouldn’t bother. There is loads happening with new games, community development, mods, conversion of flat games, huge social games (VRChat). Just because the content you wanna see is stagnant right now doesn’t mean it’s dead.

@GmanLives @retrocvnty I always enjoyed this movie though it mostly is because of nostalgia these days. But I do think a lot of the movies considered bad back then have been levelling up due to current standards levelling down. I’d rather watch this for the 10th time than the smile movies again lmao

At first a paywall might be a cash grab kinda thing to do for an age verification system but I think it may help make the system work better. Kids wanting to age verify HAVE to go through their parents now most of the time and parents will also be put off from letting their kids do so if they have to pay for what sounds like such a simple feature.

If Quest 4 has OLED pancakes I’d faint with excitement. If it has eye tracking too I’ll die with excitement then resurrect upon its release.

$80 is a lot of money and $100 is even more. Wether its priced at that or higher other publishers will almost certainly see this as a reason the price up their games. The industry will become a wealthy man’s hobby and then they’ll see less people buying and more pirating and they’ll either drop prices or rise them again. With the amount of people bound to buy GTA6 and the most likely continuation of online content to buy there is no reason for the, charge more than $80 other than pure greed and a quick fat bonus for everyone the same year.

Just letting you all know I’m still working on things! I just haven’t been as active socially and I’ve been letting myself take bigger breaks to avoid burning out after constant world creating and spending some much needed time with those close to me.
